The civil parish covers an area of 1,247 acres (505 ha) and is primarily flat with an average elevation of about 50 meters. Residential areas are located to the north of the A5301, near the southeastern part of Nantwich town.
The rest of the parish is mostly rural, with agriculture being the main land use. Howbeck Brook marks the southern boundary of the parish, with several unnamed brooks and scattered small meres and ponds throughout. Some small areas of woodland, such as Drivers Copse, can also be found within the parish.
The parish is served by three main A roads: the A51 (London Road) running north to south, the A529 (Broad Lane) forming part of the western boundary, and the A500 passing through the northern part of the parish.
The A5301 (Peter Destapleigh Way) runs east to west in the northern section, linking the A51 and A529. Additionally, local lanes like Wybunbury Lane and Annions Lane offer connectivity to Wybunbury and nearby areas. Stapeley village is situated close to Second Dig Lane.
The Welsh Marches Railway marks the northern boundary of the parish, with the closest station being in Nantwich. The Crewe and Nantwich Circular Walk traverses the parish from east to west, partly following the route of First Dig Lane.
